Connect an integration
Connect Elba to your identity provider, collaboration tools, and SaaS applications.
Integrations give Elba the data and permissions needed to inventory accounts, surface risks, and carry out supported remediation actions. The exact capabilities and authorization flow depend on the connected service.
Before you connect
- Sign in to Elba with an administrator account.
- Ask an administrator of the service you are connecting to join the setup if you do not hold the required role.
- Review the permissions shown during authorization. Elba requests only the permissions needed for the capabilities enabled by that connector.
- Use a dedicated administrative account where your organization’s policy requires one.
Connect a SaaS application
- In the Elba admin workspace, open Settings → Integrations.
- Find the application you want to connect.
- Select Connect and follow the authorization flow for that service.
- Return to Elba after consent is granted.
- Confirm that the integration reports as connected and allow the initial synchronization to finish.
The first synchronization can take a few minutes. Available data and actions are shown as capability badges in the integration catalog.
Identity and communication providers
These providers have additional setup requirements:
Google Workspace
Configure domain-wide delegation with a Google Workspace Super Admin.
Microsoft 365
Grant organization-wide consent with a Microsoft Global Administrator.
Okta
Prepare the SSO and service application credentials required by Elba.
Slack
Install the Elba app and use Slack as an employee communication channel.
If authorization fails
- Confirm that the account has the required administrative role.
- Check whether your organization restricts third-party application consent.
- Restart the connection from Elba instead of reusing an expired consent page.
- If the integration was already connected, disconnecting it can interrupt synchronization. Contact Elba support before removing a production connection.
